Diet and Exercise

The dr. told me that I could start back with my exercising..
Sssllllooowwwwlllyyy... so that my body can still be healing. SO, today I am jumping back on the train and getting my body going like I was doing. I'm starting off with a slow walk and increase the intensity, or whatever I feel I can do each day. I have not gained any weight, to my amazement, but that's a good thing, right! I'm thinking that the pounds will fall off the 1st 2 weeks, like it always does, and then be back to normal, which means I'll have to work my BUTT off! ;) Which is FINE with me!

GO AHEAD!!

ok, yeah so don't have a heart attack because I posted 2 days in a row.. BUT.. My dr. gave me the go ahead at the post op check up today! to start TTC!!!!! and IF I'm not preggo in 6 months.. to come see him, I told him I feel VERY positive about this, and don't think I'll be seeing him again! ha ha!!
Also, I can get my butt back on the treadmill, everything except go to work, and thats only because of the work I do.
Yeah, I'm excited in so many ways. I really rejoice in the Lord, because he is making all this possible for me!

My world is coming TOGETHER!!

I am so excited! I just had to share the news with the bloggy world. Those of you that "know" me, know that my ex-husband and I have joint custody of our kiddos. Well.. he called me to tell me that... SINCE he is (finally) TRYING to find a JOB, that I can put my kids in the school district that I live in, this is very exciting news to me, being that I drive twice a day that weeks I have them OUT of my WAY to take the kids to school. They had to get up at 5, to get them to a friends house at 6:30, so I could be at work at 7. Then a repeat that afternoon.
I have been praying that I would eventually get full custody, which is Not what I have accomplished yet, but looks very close. I've made lots of changes in my life, and I feel God is looking after me, I can strongly feel that, and can tell on a day to day basis. My surgery was successful, and everything is just "falling" into place. and I have a SMILE on my face, like noone would believe! Now, If i can get my behind back on the treadmill, (dr checkup on wed. I gotta make sure I'm ok, before I get back on it, don't need to mess up anything) and we can get "lucky" with a baby! I'll be SMILING indeed!!

surgery has been completed!

First of all, thanks to all of you for praying for me and my blood pressure to behave. Because it did! The surgery went off without a HITCh!! The RE dr. said that the dr. that did my tubal cut one side a lil shorter than he should have, so he's not sure if that side will close back up or not. So with that said, he is saying we only have a 50/50 chance of the reversal working.. BUt i told him, You know what, i had a 0% before, so... its gonna work for me!! He told me to keep that attitude, and I am! I feel really positive about this working for us! We have to wait about 2 months before we can try.. dang it!! ha ha! But, hubby and I both feel very positive about this, so that is a good thing! The Lord has moved many obstacles for this surgery to be completed, so I feel that it will work for us.

They weighed me that morning, and I'm pleased to say I have lost 70 pounds.. YAHOOOO!!! I was so excited!

I just thought I'd let you all know I am doing well... Yes i am at home, they don't keep you like they used to! very sore, but slowly walking that out!

Again, thanks for all your prayers.. Now lets just pray that it is successful!!!

Final Countdown!!

Well folks, I have my surgery on Wednesday! YAY!! I have maintained my weight loss and have lost a total of aaalllmmmmooossst 70 pounds.. LOL! I feel fantastic and I truly believe this is meant to be! I go to Mobile on Monday (July 6) for my pre-op and then wed. (July 8) is surgery at 7:30 in the a.m.. I'm super excited and so is my hubby. I will be sure to update you all on what is going on as soon as i feel up to getting back on the computer. I believe I will be in the hospital until Sat. but may be as early as Friday I find out for sure on Monday. Please keep me and my family in your prayers and thanks for all the prayers.. prayer is EXTREMELY POWERFUL and I appreciate all the support that I have had.

3 weeks left!

I only have 3 whole weks til I have my tubal reversal surgery! I am excited, scared, and whatever other emotions you can think of! My hubby is more excited than I am I think! and that is a WONDERFUL feeling!

On a different note, I got to do a couple of things I haven't done in a VERY LONG TIME.. matter of fact.. since I was a KID!! The first pic is of me on a slide, I do not remember getting on a slide since before 1992! This is a huge accompishment for me! The 2nd pic is of me on a rock climbing thing, I have never done this and it was SO MUCH FUN!! no telling what I'll do after I lose the other 60 that I want to lose!


Please everyone keep me in your prayers, and I will definately keep you all updated as to what is going on!

5 months and 60 POUNDS!!

I started my journey on January 2nd of 2009. It has been VERY rewarding, and I have learned to like (and dislike) a few things. But, things that I can accept. Here is a picture of what I looked like last July at my nephews birthday party. Yes it was at a pool, and NO I would NOT put a swimsuit on!

During the months of March and April, I did not lose a pound. AT ALL! But, I re-evaluated and got myself and picked my behind back up, and started back on progress. I looked at this as a positive, because I didn't gain anything either. Just held on to the plateau, as much as that is aggrivating.Once, I got back to the exercising, the weight started falling off again. =) yes, I was excited to see that I could lose more.

We took my kids to the coast, a couple of weeks ago, so they could play in some sand. I put a bathing suit on, and thought my hubby was gonna HIT THE FLOOR! He was in shock to say the least. I love to take pictures, and there was this really nice guy that came up and said, Ya'll get together, I'll take you a family picture, soyou will have one with you all together. It was a very nice thing for him to do, otherwise, I'd never had one. And this is the pic...


I have 31 days until my surgery! YAY! I am getting so excited and nervous like you would NEVER know. I want to lose around 16 more pounds before this, and I think I can do it. Because it is attainable! I'll take more though, if I lose more! I'm just keeping my head up and reaching for the stars!!
