How far along? 12 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: none so far!

Maternity clothes? not yet, but it won't be long

Sleep: can not get enough

Best moment this week: telling my family!

Movement: NO.. way to early

Food cravings: No cravings..

Gender: it will be a surprise

What I miss: sleeping on my tummy

What I am looking forward to: my next dr. appt in 2 weeks

Milestones: making it 1 more week.. then I will be through with the 1st trimester!





I have had a great week. This "lil Valentine" has decided that I need morning sickness, so I have to take it very easy. I do not complain about it, I know that if I am sick, everything must be going well :)

My hubby is getting excited to, he always rubs my belly and talks to "her" (for some reason he says its a she). I told him the other day "she" has to be red-headed cause "she's" giving me fits now hahaha!

11 WEEKS

The ever so exciting news is that :

WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!

No, it wasn't the pills, obviously God has a sense of humor and decided I needed to spend a lil more money than I wanted to at that time. When we went to the dr. the test came up negative, but that Sat. (the day we buried Jamie's cousin) I got a positive on a PG test!

My children went with me to the dr. on Friday and heard the heartbeat and that is how they found out! We told my parents today, I had each of them a cake made, (they are no longer married to each other), on the lil cake in the middle it said "AGAIN" and I had lil baby booties put on the cupcakes around it, and made them figure it out! They were as excited as we are!

God has been so GOOD to us! I have been very careful and cautious and we had a scare a few weeks ago, but had ultrasound and everything is GREAT!

Now to do the little weekly thing that I like to keep for records..

Sleep: Always tired. Sleeping any time I can. I am on prometrium, and it's side effect is sleep.. sooo wish it would pass, I feel like I'm sleeping my life away

Checking In!

I looked and realized it's been OVER A MONTH, since I posted a blog!
A lot has been going on around here.. school out, kids wild and crazy!, but only 2 weeks left and life will be "back to normal"!

unexpected

Well.. I always give bad news first, so here it goes..
Jace (my hubby's cousin that was in an accident) passed away Tuesday, on his 23rd birtday. It is probably the greatest gift anyone can receive, to be sitting in Heaven with the GREATEST person EVER!! His services are this weekend, if you can please say a lil prayer for us, we have been spending loads of time with his parents and his sister.

My appt. was on wednesday. Well, I just KNEW that he would do an HSG test to ensure that my tubes are open, and he said, "Leigh, your tubes should be fine, as you did conceive the 1st month after your surgery". I guess he knows what he is talking about since he is the doc. He put me on Clomid. I take 50 mg a day on days 5-9 and will do this for 6 months. then after 6 months if we don't get pg, then he will do a HSG test.

I just wanted to fill all of ya in!

need some powerful prayers

Jamie's cousin was in a horrific accident...

The story is this...
He stayed 6 hours with his grandmother yesterday and then helped a friend of his move yesterday afternoon. He called his mom to tell her where he was at, which was less than 2 miles from the house. The security guard said he did not come to a complete stop at the stop sign, then took the left, then watched as jace drove into the lake without braking.

The security guard could not help, because he has a cast on his arm, but the authorities where there in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, 40 minutes went by before they were able to get a heartbeat. As of right now, he is on life support, and then family is going to leave him on it for 48 hours to see if anything improves. There is no activity in the brain stem, so that is a terrible thing.

This family lives adjacent to the lake that the wreck happened in, so they will be able to see this daily, and think of this terrible accident.

This is a deja vu for the family, because the mother of this boy lost her brother in a car wreck 26 years ago... Jace would be 23 this coming up Tuesday.. they were gonna celebrate his birthday today, the cake is sitting on the table of their kitchen.

Please remember this family. I konw prayer is very powerful, please lift this family in prayers.
