My computer broke is why I havent blogged. But, all is well. I delivered a healthy 7 lbs 11 oz. baby girl on Feb. 15, 2011. My life could not be more complete! She has her days and nights backwards BUT, wouldn't trade it for anything. i just wanted to drop a line and will update with pictures soon!

8 Weeks to GO!!

Yes! I have reached the point that I have been sooo scared of! I have only 8 weeks left.. and so excited!!
Lil Valentine has been moving sooo much, I swear this child is ADHD and It isn't even here yet!!
I have changed my templet up.. but I have a question.. how do I change the colors on the main blog.. AGGHHH.. I just can't figure it out!! please help.. I'll do a 32 week update soon!

10 weeks to go!!!

We have only 10 weeks left til we find out what we are having! I can't wait!! I'm so excited beyond words that we have reached this far in the pregnancy.
I have been very emotional, I reckon that comes along with a pregnancy. But the holidays are very very special to me, and now I cry over EVERY LITTLE THING!! I do know how lucky I am to have this special lil baby, and I know how excited we are to be looking forward to meeting him/her.

How far along? 30 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +6 (this is a total)

Maternity clothes? of course

Sleep: can not get enough sleep!

Best moment this week: watching my belly move around when the baby moves!

Movement: yes! all the time!!

Food cravings: no cravings

Gender: it will be a surprise! I say a boy he says a girl.. all I can say is he better NOT be right! :-)

Labor Signs: not at all

What I miss: feeling my hands! I am getting carpel tunnel, which i have anyway but now its worse with my being preggo, and now has extended all the way to my elbows.. ugh!

What I am looking forward to: ultrasound in couple of weeks.. matter of fact.. 2 days before Christmas!

Weekly Wisdom: GET SOME REST!!! and take it easy

Milestones: I'm now just waiting to get past 32 weeks, which is another nervous point for me, which is actually Christmas day.. but we will see dr. that week.. so all will be well! :-)

29 Weeks.. Time is moving FAST!!

YOWZER!! Time is moving so fast for me, or so it seems! "Lil Valentine" will be here before we know it! I kept saying we weren't doing anything til after Christmas.. and now Christmas is ONLY 2 weeks away! Time needs to slow down a LIL BIT!


Everything on the homefront is almost back to normal. Almost being the key word. HA!

Best moment this week: go to the dr. on friday! so excited!

So Much Going On!

I have a LOT to talk about as I've had a whole very lot going on. Yes, this is stress induced as well.. GRRR!!!

My dad had a heart attack 2 weeks ago, althoug he is doing well now, it still concerns me, just because he is my Daddy!

My sister went to rehab, and decided she would try to beat the ssytem, and failed, so she got kicked out. (Not going into detail to much). She will be going to court tomorrow to try to do something else, and I really hope this one works for her!

I PASSED my GLUCOSE test!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!! I can NOT express how happy I am about this, as I was very nervous, since I have been wanting lots and lots of sugar!!

Now for the weekly update!

23 week update

Hope all ya'll have been doing well!
We are doing fantastic, "lil valentine" is moving all the time, and it feels great! I am starting to eat more, but i truly think it's all going to the baby, as I've not gained but 4 pounds total, no, I am NOT complaining!!!

I am looking forward to attending some breastfeeding classes soon, to make sure that i have learned all that I can to ensure my baby stays healthy after I have him/her.

On a different note, I am hoping the rain holds off today, so we can take the kids to the pumkpin patch that is up the road, as today is the ONLY day I am able to take them and I have been SOOO looking forward to it!

Now for my weekly update.

Sleep: hasn't been too good the last week

"Lil Valentine"

Yes, it's been a while since I've last posted, but, all is well!!

We had an ultrasound today, and since we do not want to know what we are having we let the ultrasound tech know that. Everything is measuring perfectly!! I'm sooo excited, as I was VERY worried that something would be terribly wrong with the baby. "lil valentine" weighs in at approximately 12 ounces, which is right on target! I didn't ask how long it was (OHHH how I really don't like the "it" word LOL). We did learn that lil one has already developed it's personality!! It is already sucking its thumb, and is very cute! but I'm concerned with breaking the habit, for the record, neither of my other 2 ever sucked their thumbs!! It is a lil wiggle worm too, as I had already told my hubby it LOVES to rock and roll!! always moving, I guess it's dancing, who knows!!

now for my usual weekly thing, that I havent' done in a few weeks!

Sleep: not very good.. it's not easy to sleep on my left side whenever I'm used to sleeping on my belly

Best moment this week: it flew by very fast! ( was so busy with work, I didn't really have a "best moment")

Food cravings: pickles and grilled cheese sandwiches.. thankfully not at the same time

I go to the dr. in 2 more weeks, so we will get to hear the lil valentine then, I can't wait til lil one starts moving so my hubby can feel it. He talks to the baby every night and rubs my belly before we go to bed, it's very sweet, and takes my breath away!

My baby girl made the basketball team! She is a "team manager", and I think that is a GREAT way for her to see what it is like to be a part of the team! I am very excited for her, and know it will teach her LOTS of things in the long run. She is not very social (she gets it from her mom, I wasnt' either until after I graduated from high school), and I hope this will bring her out of her shell.

Nervous wreck!

My 12 year old tried out for the junior high basketball team! We will find out Thursday if she made it or not! I am sitting on the edge of my seat now... waiting on Thursday. I think I am more excited and nervous than she is. She hasn't played since I "think" she was in the 3rd grade, so that is 4 years, and she hasn't played a game since. She did reallly good out there, just help me pray and keep my fingers crossed!

Ugh! I hate waiting!

I have had a great week. This "lil Valentine" has decided that I need morning sickness, so I have to take it very easy. I do not complain about it, I know that if I am sick, everything must be going well :)

My hubby is getting excited to, he always rubs my belly and talks to "her" (for some reason he says its a she). I told him the other day "she" has to be red-headed cause "she's" giving me fits now hahaha!

11 WEEKS

The ever so exciting news is that :

WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!

No, it wasn't the pills, obviously God has a sense of humor and decided I needed to spend a lil more money than I wanted to at that time. When we went to the dr. the test came up negative, but that Sat. (the day we buried Jamie's cousin) I got a positive on a PG test!

My children went with me to the dr. on Friday and heard the heartbeat and that is how they found out! We told my parents today, I had each of them a cake made, (they are no longer married to each other), on the lil cake in the middle it said "AGAIN" and I had lil baby booties put on the cupcakes around it, and made them figure it out! They were as excited as we are!

God has been so GOOD to us! I have been very careful and cautious and we had a scare a few weeks ago, but had ultrasound and everything is GREAT!

Now to do the little weekly thing that I like to keep for records..

Maternity clothes? not yet, but it won't be long

Sleep: Always tired. Sleeping any time I can. I am on prometrium, and it's side effect is sleep.. sooo wish it would pass, I feel like I'm sleeping my life away

Movement: NO.. way to early

Food cravings: No cravings..

Gender: too soon to find out, but doesn't look like we will be finding out, hubby wants the surprise
